Post Traumatic Stress Disorder

Post Traumatic Stress is a difficult thing to overcome. While fighting for you life in a war you deal with traumatizing experiences that you will carry with you throughout your life. While most turn to suicide, others turn to treatment such as therapy or medication.

While I do believe you should talk about your life experiences to overcome them, I don’t believe in medication.

Taking medication for something like this is s if you referring to them as mental. Why give a person drugs that isn’t delusional? There is no reason for that. How you ever experienced this? Most likely, you haven’t if you are prescribing the medicine. How can you prescribe medicine to them without even enduring what they endured? The answer Is you can’t. By saying their crazy and hand them medicine, does that help? No it just makes them more depressed. Does it make everything just vanish, or make them forget it?  A person could never forget something as traumatizing as that. No matter how many drugs you put in them. Though it might calm them down to help them cope with it, it doesn’t really solve anything. However, with therapy their thoughts are out in the open. Their feelings are put onto you so that you can understand them better. Isn’t it better to understand them then to label them as crazy?
